Hepco-Becker 'Gobi' Cases for the Multistrada

I am absolutely loving my new Hepco-Becker 'Gobi' side-cases and top-box! The racks look good on the Multistrada even when the cases aren't attached. This is especially true if your Ducati has a black frame as mine does. The fit and function of everything has exceded my expectations. Yes, they are expensive, but I really feel that I got a quality set of cases and racks for my money.

I have test-driven the bike (1000 S DS model) at 85 miles per hour, with a stiff cross-wind coming off of New York Harbor, and I must say that I didn't notice any effect on the handling of the bike whatsoever!  I actually had to look back carefully to make sure they were really
there! Of course, this is also a testament to the superb quality of the Multistrada as well.

Loading and unloading the cases is a breeze.......1 key to lock everything to the bike, as well as the cases themselves. I also opted for the inner liner bags, which will come in quite handy when wanting to leave the cases locked to the bike at a hotel or campground.

The overall quality of each component is very good! I wouldn't have minded, however, if the tie-down loops had been included in the price of the cases!

The only gripe I can think of, is that there should really be some accomodation for those who speak English with the instructions.  Although installation was fairly straightforward, there were a few moments of fearful self-doubt about how to proceed. I ended up using Google to find a German/English dictionary to translate some of the key words.

Anyway, I love the luggage set-up.......It rivals anything that BMW GS riders may have. I am also happy with the people that took my order and the speedy delivery of my stuff!
